I’m Chinese and we are taught to be humble, whichincludes not to brag about ourselves. But what thehell, I can do something new as a change.

1.I’m curious. I am 27 and I didn’t have a chance tolive outside of China (California) until about 3 yearsago. People are amazed by my bilingual ability. I givecredit to my curiosity for western society, and myurge to share my native culture.
1.我好奇心强。我27岁，直到3年前才有机会出国生活（加利福尼亚）。人们惊讶于我精通双语的能力，这要归功于我对西方社会的好奇和分享祖国文化的渴望。
2.I’m always smiling when I’m in public. There have been people telling me that whenever theysee me, I always have a smile on my face.

3.I’ve been financially independent since I was 18, and I have the amount of saving which mostadults at my age would be proud of. I was working various part time jobs in college to gainmoney, experience and insight. So far, after graduation my jobs have included being a pubwaitress, translator, website evaluator, journalist, financial controller.. and the list goes on.
3.从18岁起我就经济独立，而且有大多数同龄人会引以为傲的存款。大学时我就做各种兼职工作来赚钱，积累经验，提高眼力。毕业后到目前为止我做过酒吧服务员、翻译、网站评估员、记者、财务总监，我还在继续挑战自己。
4.I try to improve myself, every single day. I have bad days, days I don’t want towork/exercise/study/simply get out of bed. I make up those days with working extra hard ondays when I’m more productive.
4.每一天我都在努力提高自己。我有也不在状态的时候，有些日子不想工作、锻炼、学习甚至不想起床。耽误的工作我都在效率高的时候加倍努力补上。
5.I’m book smart (not sure about street smart though). I can learn pretty much everythingpretty well as long as I set my mind to. My high school was the best in the region with anadmission rate lower than 2%. Without surprise, I was accepted by a tier 1 university inShanghai (In China, we have 5 tiers for universities).
5.我有书本智慧（却不太懂街头智慧）。只要我用心什么都能学得很好。我就读的高中是当地最好的，录取率不到2%。我毫不意外地考入了上海的顶级大学（中国大学分5等）。
6.I’m a diligent listener. I am usually the quiet one in a group and enjoy absorbing ideas andthoughts from different voices.
6.我是一个用心倾听的人。在一群人中我总是很安静，喜欢吸收来自不同声音的想法和思想。
7.I take care of my body. I exercise regularly. I eat homemade food. I take time to meditateand ensure mental health.
7.我很会照顾自己。我定期锻炼，在家里自己做饭吃，还会花时间冥想，保持精神健康。
8.I’m frugal and a minimalist, but in the mean time, I keep an eye out for newinventions/trends. Can’t stop being curious.
8.我很节俭，是个极简主义者，但同时我还留心新的发明和流行趋势。求知欲不能停。
9.I’m the perfect roommate. I clean. I cook. I am super quiet. I don’t invite friends over unlessspecial occasions. I don’t own much stuff. Oh, I pay rent on time too.
9.我是个完美的室友。我会打扫房间，做饭，还超级安静；除非有特殊情况否则不会邀请朋友过来；东西也不多；我还会准时交房租。
10.I think I’m quite good looking.
