Hu Ming, an associate professor with the School of Economics at Guizhou University, has beentaking his 85-year-old mother, who has Alzheimer's disease, to class with him for the last fouryears, Beijing Youth Daily reported.
据《北京青年报》报道，过去四年里，贵州大学经济学院副教授胡鸣，一直带着他那患有阿尔茨海默症的85岁母亲上课。
The mother began to show symptoms of Alzheimer's a year after her husband died of a cerebralhemorrhage.
在丈夫死于脑出血后的一年，这位老母亲开始出现阿尔茨海默氏症的症状。
"My mother's symptoms were so severe that she drank dishwashing liquid, and was unable totell sugar, salt or laundry detergent apart," explained Hu, who is 58. "She was unable to bewithout me and always made me worried, so I began to take her with me to class."
58岁的胡鸣表示：“我母亲的症状非常严重，她喝洗碗液，无法分辨糖、盐或洗衣粉。她离不开我，总是让我担心，所以我便开始带她去上课。”
With his mother in sight, he was able to concentrate more on teaching, Hu added.

His mother was unsettled at home, sometimes making such a mess that he had to spend anentire day cleaning up. However, she has kept quiet in class. His students confirmed this.
在家里，胡鸣的母亲会心绪不宁，有时会弄得一团糟，胡鸣不得不花一整天的时间来清理。但是她在课堂上却能保持沉默。胡鸣的学生们证实了这一点。
Both the students and the university sympathized with Hu and were moved by his filial piety.
学生和校方都很同情胡鸣，并被他的孝顺所感动。
According to teachers, the school neither supported nor opposed Hu's solution, so long asthe mother did not disturb his classes.
根据学习中的老师们表示，学校既不支持也不反对胡鸣的解决方案，只要这位老母亲不打扰他上课就行。
