Lan Yao, a junior at the Wuhan Software VocationalCollege, has started up his business by selling foodthrough "snack boxes" in college dormitory rooms, earning 1,200 yuan (around $180 dollars) per day, reports Changjiang Daily.
据《长江日报》报道，武汉软件职院大三学生兰尧在寝室里通过“零食盒子”出售食物进行创业，每天可以赚1200元（约180美元）。
The "snack box" is a transparent plastic tubcontaining drinks, instant noodles, spicy strips andother snacks popular among college students.
“零食盒子”是一种透明的塑料储物盒，里面装着饮料、方便面、辣条和其他一些在大学生群体中受欢迎的小吃。
Students simply choose what they want from the box, and pay for the food by scanning the QRcode printed on the lid.
学生们只需从盒子里选择他们想要的东西，并通过扫描印在盖子上的二维码来付款。
When the snacks are sold out, the box will be resupplied.
当零食卖完之后，该盒子会再补充。
If someone eats the snacks without paying, Lan Yao says he will remove the box from thedorm room. But it seems almost everyone pays honestly.

Only a year into the enterprise, Lan is already expanding. So far he's installed "snack boxes" in 3,000 dorm rooms at 5 local colleges, and hired 20 college students as part-time workers toresupply snacks.
创业才一年，兰尧就已经扩大经营了。到目前为止，他已经在当地5所大学的3000间宿舍里配备了“零食盒子”，并雇佣了20名大学生作为兼职员工来补货。
"I've gotten used to buying food from the 'snack box' in my dorm room, because it'sconvenient and the price is fair," said one college student.

One food company has even offered Lan Yao an advertising deal worth 120,000 yuan (around $18,000 dollars).
有一家食品公司甚至给兰尧提供了一笔价值12万元（约合1.8万美元）的广告费。
"From October, one quarter of the surface of each box lid will be covered with the ad of thisfood company," said Lan Yao.
兰尧称：“10月开始，盒子表面四分之一的地方将覆盖这家食品公司的广告。”
